The 100 Black Men of Middle Tennessee leverage influential programs to enhance he social, cultural, emotional, and unique needs of youth, primarily African American males.  The common themes that fuel our initiatives include Education, Economic Empowerment, Leadership Development, and Health & Wellness.

NISSAN RESUME CHALLENGE

The 100 Black Men of Middle Tennessee, Inc. partners annually with Nissan to present the Nissan Resume Challenge. This program offers local area high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to learn proper resume building and interview techniques through a series of workshops and interviews.

GOLF FOR LIFE

Golf for Life provides an 8-week internship at the Vanderbilt Legends Golf Club and Belle Meade Country Club.  Participants learn about golf from a holistic view including professional golf lessons, etiquette, and grounds keeping.

100 STEM ACADEMY

The 100 STEM Clubs have been established in partnership with Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS) and the MNPS “i3 Grow STEM” program which began in Fall 2016. Members of The 100, Collegiate 100, and 100 KINGS provide mentorship and coaching during Saturday, 5-hour STEM sessions.

HACK 4 HEALTH

The 100 Black Men of Middle Tennessee is partnering with Meharry Medical College for a community health fair. This is a program that is being sponsored through a Walmart foundation grant. The focus of the community health fair is to encourage the community of Nashville and Middle Tennessee to become educated on their health care status. This will be accomplished through health screenings.
