Julisa Maxwell is a dynamic creative who currently serves as the Program Manager for the 100 Black Men of Middle Tennessee where she’s able to utilize her unique skillset.  With over 15 years of career experience, she excels in educating, developing relationships, and logistical organization.

She completed her undergraduate studies at Mississippi State University with a degree in Kinesiology.  After relocating to Nashville in June of 2014, Julisa began her role as a secondary educator within Metro Nashville Public Schools and earned her Master of Education from Lipscomb University.  Her wide knowledge base allowed her to teach various subjects from dance to anatomy and physiology.  In addition, Julisa also served as a student events coordinator and school operations manager, organizing and facilitating school-wide events and procedures.

Having a broad range of interests allows Julisa to keep a fresh perspective.  Outside of her role with The 100, Julisa runs her own craft business, is a dance team consultant, and works as a trainer at Burn Boot Camp – Nolensville. She appreciates having even a small role in the lives of so many students, clients, and their families.  Julisa has shared her talents with the Nashville community for over a decade and hopes to continue doing so for years to come
